David Brooks often makes me impatient and I never did read that "Bobos" book, but these are issues I've wrestled with over and over. This essay is the answer I've been looking for, except it still ignores the indigenous people on the rez. I hope this becomes a book. In the meantime, I'll pursue the included bibliography on my medium.com blog and look for a sociology book about "Indians." I also agree with Tanner. Thanks, Brooks.
