Dogma was irrelevant. Denomination was simply for money management. History didn’t apply. Except that Enlightenment was an unconscious map, a synonym for Unitarian but not for Universalist which was a matter of love, whatever that is, as Prince Charles famously said.

Post-enlightenment admits quantum mechanics. On those terms is simple existence — not going up mountains, going along trails, going around or to and fro. Success has no meaning. No one puts cats in boxes.

Often I drove at night, tires humming, no radio. Northern lights. Milky Way. Big Dipper. I might have driven up into the sky, past all horizons.
