GIVE IT UP

While the impeachment hearings are going on, I haven’t been writing. This is not writing — it’s just free association. I’m perfectly clear that Trump is deranged and that evil people are using him for their own ends, while all the time fearing that he will turn on them. But they’re in too deep to bail out now.

Trump has always been “transactional.” That is, he only buys and sells and feels nothing else. No credit except for him and no promises that he won’t simply stiff you in the end. After all the blackmail and extortion maybe call for your death. The mafia way.

People were too terrified of the mafia to say so. Are they still that powerful? More so, because they are international now — less so, because they are not part of this nation. We have far more power as a nation than we use. But it was hard to even see that that international mafia was after our nation. Now we do, but we can’t impeach them — only their tool, Trump.

The nuclear threat has been displaced by the viral and chemical threats but they have no boundaries. Trump and his so-called “football” are not as significant as they once were. The real threat is simple: climate change leading to famine.

Trump used to have a lot of money or at least the illusion of it. That illusion has been dispersed. It was all fake, to use his word. He laundered other people’s money, he used credit from other people including the young relative of a Supreme Court judge, he went broke over and over. Even when he has money, he does nothing with it but play golf and buy fancy ladies on whom he forces plastic surgery because they’re not good enough as they are — not even his own daughter. Of course, his own drugs cost money.

He once had power and influence with fellow aging oligarchs but now that he’s exposed as a mere tool, he can’t be a player with them anymore. Putin is losing power. It’s looking as tho Trump is no longer useful to him. You know what that means.

Once he was tall and young. Now he’s not either. People shrink as they age.

His family is no longer intimidated. They never did like him.

He loves speaking but has never realized that it means we have a permanent record of what he says and can mock it, Photoshop it.

The Mafia lawyers who are the only one who stick — Trump didn’t choose them and wouldn’t pay them himself but they’re on contract — would do well to stand up and say simply: “We concede. It’s over. Come and get him.”
