Lakoff feels that classic philosophy is the equivalent of “Newtonian” science in the sense of being over-accepted and obvious. It is vulnerable to being faked by logic.

Embodied mind and metaphor are unconscious and inaccessible so in that sense it is more like quantum mechanics. Anything we think — whether it comes from out-skin or in-skin — is “embodied” in the brain cells because it is performed and connected physically within and between cells. We call that the “connectome”, a dynamic system of what we think the world is.
