This civilized world is invented, not real. There are no actual nations, no money, no stock market, no betting on the value of pork bellies or the chances of election. They are entwined.

In the beginning the idea of nations and money were based on raw resources — metal, minerals, spices, fibres, people who could be made into slaves — including children. This is about exhausted.

Now we have systems, based on the way land was owned originally, that is, occupying, using, improving, cropping. The new nations are infrastructure, transportation, technical development. Understanding and participating are the new “ownership.”
