What a reward to have a reader who gets what one is saying! Addressing the clothes thing, we walk into transgender and gay queens as well as little boys who love trying to walk in mom’s 4-inch high heels. Maybe cosplay had to be invented because so many iconic clothes items like garter belts have disappeared, though there are plenty of pantyhose jokes. Clothes are not just gender, but markers for class, wealth, etc.

Having survived crinolines and torsolettes, I’m inclined to buy a pair of blue stockings. To wear with my Crocs. My preference in clothing runs to menswear. But I like them even better if there are men in them.
